BubbleRAN software solution MX-PDK has continuously evolved from a cloud-native Open RAN platform into a complete AI-RAN and 5G/6G innovation environment. Since its first public release, Azure in 2022, MX-PDK has evolved through continuous development, regular feature enhancements, performance optimizations, and ongoing validation with customers, partners, and the open RAN ecosystem. 1. Azure — October 2022: Cloud-native Open RAN foundation with 3GPP, O-RAN, slicing, RIC, SMO, DevOps, and open documentation.
2. Bronze — October 2023: Multi-vendor 4G/5G automation, OAM, observability, edge integration, and enhanced RIC capabilities.
3. Crimson — July 2025: AI-RAN platform with built-in automation, intelligence, xApps, rApps, agents, and open ecosystem support.
4. Denim — January 2026: O-RAN-compliant stack extended with AI-RAN services, blueprints, sensing, observability, and lab-to-production workflows.
5. Emerald — June 2026: Intelligent connectivity from TN to NTN, from O-RAN to AI-RAN, and from 5G to 6G.
